Solution Scope

What a Turnkey Solution Can Include

A turnkey project brings the main elements of injection molding production together under one coordinated scope, with INJ Mold Pro as your single point of contact.

  • Injection Mold Engineering & Manufacturing

The mold is engineered and manufactured through the verified engineering-to-delivery workflow, with DFM and mold-flow approval, T1 and T2 trials, and pre-shipment inspection.

  • Injection Molding Machine Manufacturing

INJ Mold Pro manufactures and supplies the injection molding machine, configured to match the proposed mold, the plastic material, and the production requirements.

  • Auxiliary Equipment & Production Configuration

Auxiliary equipment such as mold temperature control, hot runner control, material drying and conveying, and part handling is coordinated with the machine, together with the layout and utility requirements of the production setup.

  • Installation & Commissioning

Where included in the agreed scope, installation of the production setup and commissioning of the mold, machine, and auxiliary equipment can be arranged.

  • Operator Training & Handover

Where included in the agreed scope, operator training and the handover of the complete setup can be arranged.

Scope is agreed for each project. Installation, commissioning, and operator training are included only where the agreed scope specifies them.

Project Considerations

Integrated Project Considerations

Topics typically discussed when planning the mold, machine, and production setup as one project.

  • Part and Product Requirements

Part geometry, appearance, function, and the product it belongs to set the starting point for the mold, the machine, and the process.

  • Mold and Machine Compatibility

When mold and machine are planned together, the mold proposal and the machine requirements are aligned before either is finalized, instead of fitting a mold to an existing machine afterwards.

  • Material and Process Requirements

The plastic material determines drying, processing temperatures, and handling, which affect both the machine configuration and the auxiliary equipment.

  • Auxiliary Equipment Requirements

Equipment such as mold temperature control, material drying and conveying, hot runner control, and part handling is identified around the mold and process.

  • Production Workflow and Layout

Available floor space, material flow, part handling, and utilities such as power, cooling water, and compressed air shape how the production cell is arranged.

  • Commissioning, Evaluation and Handover

Mold trials follow the mold workflow. Where installation and commissioning are in scope, how the complete setup is started up, evaluated, and handed over is agreed before the project begins.

Topics for defining the project scope. No production output, cycle time, or performance level is implied.

Scope Structure

How the Work Is Organized

The mold follows the verified engineering-to-delivery workflow. The machine is manufactured and configured for the project together with the auxiliary equipment, and installation, commissioning, and training are added only where agreed.

Mold Engineering & Manufacturing

Verified 11-stage workflow
  • Tooling proposal and quotation
  • DFM, mold-flow, and mold design approval
  • Mold manufacturing
  • T1 and T2 mold trials
  • Pre-shipment inspection and delivery documents

Machine & Auxiliary Equipment

Configured for each project
  • Injection molding machine manufacturing and configuration
  • Auxiliary equipment selection and supply
  • Interfaces between mold, machine, and auxiliaries
  • Layout and utility requirements for the production setup

Installation, Commissioning & Training

Where included in the agreed scope
  • Installation of the production setup
  • Commissioning of mold, machine, and auxiliaries
  • Operator training
  • Handover of the complete setup

Installation, commissioning, and operator training are provided only where they are included in the agreed project scope. No production output, cycle time, or performance level is guaranteed or implied.

In a turnkey project, the mold runs through the full 11-stage workflow, including the customer approval checkpoints and the engineering and delivery documents.
